The Kuwait Economic Society criticized the government, warning that its lack of response to the economic turmoil in the stock market had led to a KD4bn loss. Dr Rola Dashti, chairperson of the society, said inaction is costing public funds about KD75m. Dr Dashti was speaking at a seminar held at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce.
